Orcon is increasing its base data allowances on its Bronze, Bronze+, Platinum, and Purple+ plans.
Orcon’s Bronze+ base free data allowance doubles to 2GB while the Purple+ allowance goes from 15GB to 25GB.
Customers on the new Bronze plan receive 2GB of data, and Platinum customers get 25GB of data.
The changes take effect for existing customers from Monday, and new customers from May 31.
Orcon CEO Scott Bartlett says the changes reflect the increased data use of New Zealanders.
The changes are:
- Increased Bronze + base data allocation from 1GB to 2GB
- Increased Purple+ base data allocation from 15Gb to 25GB
- A renaming of Purple to Bronze, and increased data allocation to 2GB
- Increased Platinum data allocation from 20GB to 25GB
