Kordia is one of Australasia's largest Telecommunications Systems Integration service delivery organisations.  We specialise in designing, building and operating challenging and critical telecommunications systems throughout New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific.

• You'll expand your knowledge and skills across a variety of broadcast and critical communications infrastructure including FM Broadcast and TV transmitters, safety of life communications (ambulance, fire and emergency, maritime safety), and cellular systems.

The role:

As a Rigger in our Solutions team, you will be working alongside our team of experts reporting directly through to our Field Team Leader.

You'll be involved in installation, maintenance and fault rectification covering the upper North Island region across both broadcast and telecommunications customers.  There will also be some occasional project work covering anything from a cellular site build to customer network installations.

What we are looking for:

Someone who'll fit into our inclusive, friendly team environment.  

Ideally you will have

• 5-10 years’ experience in either the broadcast or telecommunications industry
• Experience across a range of structures including lattice towers, guyed masts and monopoles
• Work at Heights qualification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
• NZ Residency
• A current NZ Drivers Licence
• Preparedness to complete a full medical assessment prior to employment
• Preparedness to return a favourable MOJ / Police check prior to employment
