The role:

As a Trainee Technician in our Solutions team, you will be working within our Dunedin team of experts reporting directly through to our Dunedin Technical Team Leader to to build a sound technical knowledge across a broad
spectrum of equipment.

Once fully trained, you'll be involved in installation, maintenance and fault rectification covering the South Island region across both broadcast and telecommunications customers.  There will also be some occasional project work covering anything from a cellular site build to customer network installations.

What we are looking for:

An enthusiastic Trainee with a good work ethic, excellent customer service skills and the desire to learn.

Ideally you will 

  • Be working towards a formal qualification of Level 3 Telecommunications Technician, Radio / Wireless strand 
  • Have 3-4 years technical experience in the telecommunications industry
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills  
  • Have the ability to participate in an after-hours callout system (typically 1 week in 3) once fully trained
  • Have NZ Residency
  • Have a current NZ Drivers Licence
  • Be prepared to complete a full medical assessment prior to employment.
