Hear from a cyber incident response specialist, a communications expert, a CERT representative and a leader who has managed a real-life cyber-attack response.

Cyber incidents and attacks are on the rise. For many businesses, becoming a target of cybercrime or a breach is a case of if, not when. Clear, concise and timely communications are a vital component of a good cyber incident response. Engaging with stakeholders effectively will help minimise reputation damage and ensure trust is maintained while you recover.

However, orchestrating communications in a crisis situation requires good planning. From informing regulators, to notifying customers and dealing with the media, there's a lot of ground to cover. This is made even more complex when your IT systems are down or impacted.

In this event, we'll discuss how cyber-attacks are impacting businesses in New Zealand, and what best practice looks like when preparing a crisis communications response.

Who should attend this event?

Executives, directors, marketing and communications specialists, and cyber security leaders who want to understand how to best manage communications from a strategic level.
