What's the difference between satellite and fibre linking, and which do I need?

Fibre offers high capacity and low latency where a connection is already available at the venue. Satellite doesn't depend on existing infrastructure and is often the fastest way to get a live sport or event feed to air with minimal latency from almost anywhere. We'll recommend the best option, or a combination, based on your venue and timeline.

Can you broadcast from remote locations?

Yes. Our mobile media capability is designed to support events in locations where traditional broadcast infrastructure isn't available. We've delivered live broadcasts from remote and hard-to-access locations throughout New Zealand and the Pacific.

How far in advance do we need to book?

The earlier the better, particularly for major events, so we can complete a technical assessment of the venue. Contact us as soon as your event is confirmed and we'll work to your timeline.

Can you stream to digital platforms as well as broadcast?

Yes. Alongside traditional broadcast delivery, we can link your event to digital streaming platforms such as YouTube.

Can you distribute content to multiple broadcasters or streaming platforms?

We can deliver live or recorded content to one or multiple destinations simultaneously, including television broadcasters, streaming platforms and international broadcast partners such as Arqiva.
