Digital Terrestrial TV (DTT)
Kordia built and now owns and operates New Zealand’s largest free to air terrestrial (DTT ) network, with transmission sites covering 87% of New Zealand’s population. We provide DTT services for all major New Zealand Freeview broadcasters, as well as smaller community and special interest channels. With over 60 years’ experience delivering TV to New Zealand, we have a track record of service reliability – with 99.9% service availability.
Satellite TV (DTH)
Kordia plays a pivotal role in delivering free-to-air television via satellite transmission to homes across New Zealand. By leasing and managing a dedicated satellite transponder, Kordia provides the backbone for Freeview’s satellite service - from managing the uplink to ensuring seamless nationwide transmission.
