Preparing New Zealand for a 5G Future

Field Services

A leap into the future

5G mobile networks deliver the connectivity to power artificial intelligence and other next-generation services, and their rollout is well and truly underway around the world. The opportunities which come with revolutionary connectivity cannot be missed which is why smart buildings are being readied for 5G.

But the major challenge is that most buildings weren’t (and often still aren’t) designed with mobile connectivity in mind. An estimated 80% of mobile phone calls and data use now originate from inside a building, meaning In-Building Coverage (IBC) is a crucial component of 5G’s future.

From multi-story buildings, university and hospital campuses, to a transport tunnel, Kordia’s Special Coverage Solutions Team is the ‘go-to’ when it comes to solving complex mobile coverage issues – including 5G connectivity. Our expert engineers have in-depth knowledge of 5G and network connectivity, from design right through to installation and ongoing management.
